2. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using NudgeCompliant, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.

3. The service

NudgeCompliant helps users understand AI-related obligations, classify tools, track deadlines, and draft supporting documents. The service and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case, or that following an output will produce a particular regulatory outcome.

References to readiness do not guarantee any legal status. Where the service indicates that work is complete, it means only that all identified obligations have been addressed based on the information provided.

4. AI-Powered Features

Our compliance audit tool uses Claude, a large language model provided by Anthropic PBC via API. All audit outputs are AI-generated guidance. They do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. NudgeCompliant is a deployer of third-party AI under the EU AI Act (Article 3(4)). We do not train or fine-tune the underlying model.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans include a 7-day free trial unless stated otherwise
• You may cancel at any time, including during the free trial
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable
• Refunds are handled case by case, contact us if something's gone wrong

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your AI tools and use cases
• Review generated documents before publishing or sharing
• Remain responsible for acting, or choosing not to act, on any guidance provided
• Seek independent professional advice where appropriate
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Use the service lawfully and don't attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse it

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, business, opportunity, data, or goodwill, or for decisions made in reliance on service outputs. Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid to us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Termination

Cancel any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On cancellation, you can export your data for 30 days.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or our business. We will give registered users at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or through the service. If you continue using the service after the new terms take effect, the updated terms will apply.

10. Governing law

These terms follow the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
